| Announcement of APPF 2014 in Wuhan China | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Dear Attendees and friends: Welcome to the 7th Asian Pacific Phycological Forum (APPF 2014), which will be held in the East Lake International Conference Center in Wuhan China, from September 20 to 24, 2014 under the sponsorship of the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is our great honor and pleasure to bring such an important conference to East-Asia. The theme of the forum will be Algae, A world solution. And the attention will go to Algal biomass energy, Algal taxonomy and evolution, Environmental biology, Algal applied biology, Algal morphology and cell biology, etc. Besides, the call for the 7th Asian Pacific Phycological Forum (APPF2014) Special Sessions is now open. The 7th Asian Pacific Phycological Forum will include Special Sessions and Workshops, with the objective of complementing the theme of Algae, A World Solution with new or emerging topics of particular interest. All proposals are subject to review by the organizing committee of APPF2014. The evaluation process may include decisions to merge several proposals, to ensure ample interest in each session, and to avoid duplicate sessions on similar topics. The Special Session submission process will be available on the website beginning on December 20, 2013 Conveners will receive an e-mail regarding the acceptance of their proposal before April 15, 2014. We look forward to your suggestions.
